A heart for children: school bus donation from Heshima-Kinderförderung e.V. for our Heshima Rescue Center in Mtwapa

In January 2022, the Heshima Rescue Center in Mtwapa experienced an unforgettable moment: thanks to the generous support of Heshima-Kinderförderung e.V. in Germany, we received a valuable donation that will make a lasting difference to the lives of our children – a school bus. This generous gesture represents far more than just a means of transportation; it symbolizes hope, commitment and the power of global solidarity.

The road to donation

The need for a safe and reliable means of transportation for our children was obvious. Many of them have to travel long and often dangerous distances to school every day. Heshima-Kinderförderung e.V., an organization that is passionately committed to the welfare of disadvantaged children, recognized this urgent need and decided to support us.

Thanks to numerous fundraising campaigns and the tireless efforts of many committed supporters in Germany, this project could be realized. Particularly noteworthy is the collaboration with individuals and Heshima-Kinderförderung e.V. who worked together to make this dream come true.

A new chapter for the Heshima Rescue Center
