Farming
Our shamba (farm) is a diverse garden. Fruit and vegetables are produced here to provide the children at the Heshima Rescue Centre with the greatest possible variety of healthy, organically produced food.
Water is fed from the well (approx. 30 m deep) and from the roofs (rainwater) to three 5,000 litre tanks, which is then distributed throughout the property via a pipe system.
The garden also serves as a learning centre for our children, who enjoy sowing, planting and harvesting together with our gardener.

We run small-scale schools for the underprivileged children and youth of daily wage workers for a better future.

We run organizations where we employ youngsters so they can live their dreams for themselves and their families.
